It is with profound sadness that we note the passing of Charles E. Burkhardt. Charles was an alumnus of MSU and Supervisor of the College of Forest Resources' forest and facilities. Charles was instrumental in developing the Mid-South Forestry Equipment Show, one of the best attended and largest forestry shows in the country. He had long been involved and dedicated to forestry and to loggers in particular. The Charles Burkhardt Memorial Fund has been established in the College of Forest Resources.
